|Recommended: YesExceeds expectations — Hunter's Ridge Apartments is quiet, clean, well-constructed and superbly managed. Great choice for more mature renters. Pool fireplace area is fantastic and the gym is top notch. Always look forward to coming home and relaxing. A totally positive experience.

|Recommended: YesHunters Ridge Heaven — This complex is a 5 Star Campus with stellar staff, perfectly groomed grounds, and wonderful facilities both at the Clubhouse and in the Apartment. The non-smoking policy and pet policy and amenities make this area a Welcome every day. This has become our home and my wife and I like it very much. 5 miles from the busy down town and University and has regular bus service if we don't want to drive. Easy and quick access and management aims to make us comfortable and safe. We highly recommend living here at HR.

|Recommended: YesBest Management I've ever experienced — Yes, the apartment finishes are of high quality and the grounds are beautifully maintained. I agree the maintenance people are professional and fix problems in a timely fashion. BUT the big difference between this complex and others is MANAGEMENT. They carefully screen rental applicants, promptly respond to any unacceptable behavior or noise, and schedule routine maintenance as if the property were their own. The Community Manager makes common sense decisions which benefit the complex AND the residents. She also appears to respect the people she supervises. Good place to live

|Recommended: YesWonderful Plce — I lived in this complex and loved the feel of the grounds and apartment themselves. My wife and I drove into to Lawrence a few days after Thanksgiving stayed the night in a hotel woke the next day and began looking for apartments to live in. We went to Hunters Ridge later in the day after viewing other properties and were really impressed by Melinda and Sarah in the leasing office they took us on a tour of the complex and we immediately knew it was were we wanted to be. We began the paperwork at 4 or 5 o'clock in the day and were in our apartment by six in the evening It was a joint effort by Melinda and Sarah which they could have just told us to come back the next day. The location is walking distance to the Community complex, grocery stores, restaurants, the theater and many other things. Fir not knowing anything coming here it was the perfect location for my wife and myself.
I later was hired by Hunters' Ridge as a maintenance technician after not being able to find employment.

|Recommended: YesI totally LOVE this property 5 stars plus — I tell people ALL the time how great Hunters Ridge is Friendly professional staff, great neighbors, extremely well maintained and an overall safe place to live I am amazed at the level of privacy and how quiet living here is. I rarely hear my upstairs neighbor and I've never once heard the neighbors attached to the 2nd bedroom or kitchen wall. The design of this place was very well thought out I've looked at other apartments, houses, town homes but this just feels like home to me. I plan on staying a long, long time

|Recommended: YesThree Year Resident and Not Looking To Move — Three Year Resident and Not Looking To Move. I can't say enough about the staff. I travel for a living and have several packages come to me throughout the week and they handle everything. Maintenance is always taken care of in a timely manner. I can not hear my neighbors when I am home and have had no trouble of any kind. I would recommend Hunters Ridge to everyone looking for a great place to live.

|Recommended: YesI love the property and maint team, but attitude of office staff could be improved — Great apartment, grounds, and maintenance response times. Noise levels were good overall. However, the lobby or office staff could use some additional training to be more empathetic, friendly, and make the customer feel welcome. I love traveling and staying in hotels because that's the usual attitude of hotel staff, however, not so in apartments. Not sure if this is an industry issue, but what I see in the Hotel industry doesn't transfer to the Apartment or long term stay industry. I've only stayed in 2 apartment complexes, but both had similar attitudes towards their customers. I am not saying all staff, some were very nice and friendly, I am just saying this is a general issue, in my opinion that could be improved for betterment of client experience and likely will help in business bottom line by improving customer retention and recommendations.

|Recommended: YesBeautiful oasis in the midst of a college town. — It is very comfortable with a gorgeous view from the balcony atop the hill. I am able to look down across a field of prairie grass into the valley, and wind down looking into the sunset. As a newly married family with a baby on the way, this place has, and remains to be, a perfect home for us to begin our lives together. It really does have the feel of a modern home while still having the amenities of an apartment complex.
